Australia’s foreign policy must be guided by the consistent application of international justice, recognising that true peace and security depend on upholding human rights, international law, and accountability for all.

My priorities include:

■ Ensuring the humane treatment and timely processing of refugees.

■ Support for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

■ Commitment to a just and lasting two-state solution recognising the rights of both Palestinians and Israelis.

■ Call for an end to occupation, a halt to violence, and renewed focus on diplomacy and international law.

■ Support for human rights for all and accountability for violations of international law.

■ Affirm the right to political expression, including advocacy for Palestinian justice.
